So Panzer Division tackled its first session for [livejournal.com profile] seranx's Atropal War, and from the way I see it things went swimmingly. Congratulations, all, and thanks especially to [livejournal.com profile] miguel_zeruel for joining the DM team and [livejournal.com profile] cpon_prod for helping the boys set up the playing field (and providing those wonderful character markers!). :3

Was supposed to go swimming with the folks this morning, but I couldn't rouse myself in time -- my hours at the part-time and the weather are both making it extremely difficult to wake up before 10:30, or 11:00 if I sleep particularly early, as in morning hours early night before. Aidan!Laptop's giving me some trouble because of some Trojan, but I THINK it's been cleaned up. I THINK. I'm running another scan with another program just to be absolutely certain.

Now how I got that Trojan? No clue. Flashdisk!Rethe is perfectly clean. *checked how many times?*

Mass in the afternoon -- I don't think it'll be in Tagalog, and really, that's a good thing. The choir they get for the 4:30 PM mass in my community is really sucky, and the priests usually aren't all that either... those factors are enough of a brain fry for me. Now what more if I couldn't fully understand the celebration? @_@

Before I bugger about that, I'm going to wind down a bit and read up on World of Darkness and all the other White Wolf systems under it some more. While nothing can beat the good old high fantasy and hack n' slash of Dungeons & Dragons, I feel that WoD is a system more suited to my tastes and to the fact that numbers and I just don't get along.

On other news, Litsoc is supposed to have its Plansem at my house tomorrow and nobody -- and I mean nobody -- seems to have taken any initiative towards setting things in stone.

...One more to go, slated for this Saturday with [livejournal.com profile] seranx on duty with me and the fate of Panzer Division hanging in the balance.

[/epic]

WoD campaign was nifty, as I indicated in my post over here earlier this afternoon. I'm still trying to poke my brother into being less lazy about forum checking -- the fact that his sister is one of the DMs shouldn't mean him being able to rely on me to tell him everything. -_-

I'm killing time as I spend another day a the Phil STAR. Encoded an interesting article about one of the candidates for Congress. Does anybody know more about Amado Bagatsing? I don't know whether to believe what the article said or pass it off as a PR trip.

The past few days are going to be pretty busy. There's Panzer's epic war with the dead baby god fetus thing and Litsoc is slated to have their Plansem at my house on May. Then Mom wants to drag me to the dentist. *shudders*

Mwee. Now to stick Rethe in the USB port here and check whether the revised version of Chapter Two is ready to submit for India & the Conundrum. @_@ [livejournal.com profile] team7 wants them in by today.

To think there's still so much for me to watch. It frustrates me how I finally have Battlestar Galatica in my hands but I can't seem to get more than 2 episodes in whenever I try to marathon.

Because I like pretty flashy interweb thingies~

I suddenly find myself chasing deadlines, self-imposed or otherwise. o_o

April 25: Encode all the backlogged campaign stuff for WoD. Module 1 has some edits done to it, and I cooked up a lot of shit for the second module and beyond while I was at the STAR the other day.
April 26: Campaign for the World of Darkness crowd. Make sure to have everything printed and (hopefully) a hard copy of the source book at hand, beyond the laptop.
April 27: Deadline for submissions to Issue #2 of India & the Conundrum. On my end, that means the revised version of Endtimes, Chapter 2.
April 28: Panzer Division Campaign. [livejournal.com profile] ultra_arvin, gimme your address! D:

I still haven't been able to get back to the work I started on the world and other important background information for Apocalypse Please... I have the first part of the history down, and I've edited and listed down all of the important locations -- I've even got their political systems down, and have taken note of important characters from their end. There are still drabbles in my notebook waiting to be transferred also. ._. *sadness*

Right now I'm sitting around at the office, killing time before my Dad and I hop down to the shooting range. The computer I'm using's on Ubuntu. *proud to be familiar and comfortable with the OS now*
I have been trying, in vain, to upload the stuff I was assigned to whore out for [livejournal.com profile] _uta but all the usual file sharing services seem to hate me these days. @_@ This must be their way of protesting against the weather down here. Props to [livejournal.com profile] yukitsu for pointing me in the direction of one that actually seems to work this time.

Panzer Division still does not have a venue for the upcoming Saturday session. [livejournal.com profile] seranx has informed me of offers from [livejournal.com profile] ina_luna and [livejournal.com profile] cpon_prod, and [livejournal.com profile] ultra_arvin and [livejournal.com profile] soggy_biscuit are checking possibilities on their ends, but none of those are set in stone. I'm starting to get desperate. @_@ If push comes to shove, we're gaming in ADMU or somewhere along Katipunan.

The OTHER campaign with the World of Darkness crew, however, is all set for Thursday. Board's been pretty active too.

Anyway. About the weekend.

Batangas Heritage Trip 2007. )

Sunday was a Sunday well-spent: [livejournal.com profile] yukitsu stayed around until just a little before lunch, because there was no chance in Hell my parents were letting her commute home at 9:30 PM with that much stuff on her hands. We were both groggy. Nuff said.

Now, for random Life Updates beyond that beautiful weekend:

  • God Mode and Megalomaniac Muse has bit me in the arse. All I've been doing is cooking up concepts and world-building for Apocalypse Please beyond fleshing out stuff for my campaign with [livejournal.com profile] hamster_friend.
  • This is my second day without the air-conditioner. I'm wondering whether it's because it's actually gotten cooler or if I've just gotten used to the heat.
  • I still haven't encoded those drabbles from last week.
  • Combat Shooting with Daddeh tomorrow! *_*
  • Pio is back from his mistress' lair Singapore. There's something different about the way he talks. o_O I can't put my finger on it.
  • Hormones going crazy. PERIOD, COME NOW. ...I can't believe I just typed that.
  • [livejournal.com profile] khursten is the Download Overlord, and I am her High Priestess.

( Apr. 20th, 2007 10:53 pm)
Barrion Heritage Tour tomorrow for us Punzalans. Rachel is coming along~~~ she's making her character for the World of Darkness campaign right now as I post this. Anyway.

PANZER DIVISION: As I have constantly outlined in my y!m status message (yes, cousin, I know it's not technically a status -_-), the next campaign date is set for APRIL 28, SATURDAY. We do NOT have a venue. I repeat: we do NOT have a venue. Any takers?

WORLD OF DARKNESS PARTY: Character creation is ongoing at this moment, and we need to set a date for the first session. Please let me know when all of you are free. ALSO, join the board at Happy Pending for future announcements.

...On that note, all gamers on my flist are welcome to join the board. It's geared towards tabletop gaming, among other things.

Today was my busiest day at the STAR yet. I encoded 10++ press releases, answered a shitload of phone calls and edited some stuff too. *feels oddly refreshed because of it*

I think I'll go back to encoding campaign stuff now. I've been in God Mode a lot these days, and I'm not just referring to the campaigns. *proud of the stuff she's doing for Apocalypse Please* I really, REALLY should encode those backlogged drabbles though... came up with a new set earlier this week.
[shameless plug]

You read that right, ladies. Lights Out is back in black for a fourth round of rabid fangirlism and boysmex on May 26 this summer. Details on venue to follow~ in the meantime, hop over to the forum for updates and whatnot.

Please note that we're also looking into grabbing volunteers. :3

[/shameless plug]

So I spent the day God Moding with [livejournal.com profile] hamster_friend and glomping [livejournal.com profile] archangel_dream with a [livejournal.com profile] yukitsu and an Arvin-Who-Should-Really-Get-an-LJ-Already along Katipunan. And I still can't upload stuff to FF.net for some reason. @_@

Furthermore, since I'm on God Mode: Panzer Division, until further notice I am available on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays for character sheet fixing. Please poke me.

On another note, the National Book Development Board contacted me about that registration I did at their booth during Read or Die. o_o Surreal, yo.

On yet another note: to all those who have signed up to become slaves beta readers of the horrendously outdated but otherwise complete "final" version of Endtimes before this new revamp I'm working on, please remind me to send it all over to you.

LIVE, [livejournal.com profile] ze_junkheap! LIIIIIVVVVEEEE!!!!!

... *smack*

I have too many projects lined up for this year and beyond.
I should've posted about this last night, but the article I had to write kept me occupied. I honestly think what I put out was shit. >_> So, if you want to read shit, watch out for it in the Lifestyle section sometime this week.

Anyway, the Tarlac trip was even more interesting than I thought it'd be... slept for an hour on both the trips coming there and going back, but given that I'd only slept five hours, that was expected.

Warning. Teh hueg pictures underneath the cut.

Peter says I should get a Multiply account. )

The funny thing about this is I nearly didn't go. As [livejournal.com profile] yukitsu partially witnessed since she was online with me at the time, my knee acted up last Tuesday, and Mom had a Mother Moment. To make a long story short, she wanted to send Dad to cover my assignment for me.

Yep, I would have died of embarassment. I told them as much.

Now, on the knew, and other sometimes bad things that happened today.

  • Mom made me push back DM planning for the doctor's appointment. Mom also freaks out when she discovers I'm a lone girl going to a guy's house to meet with him and one other guy. From today I have learned the virtue of the occasional safe lie to tell parents.
  • I make [livejournal.com profile] miguel_zeruel and [livejournal.com profile] seranx scramble a bit to find a female beyond [livejournal.com profile] miguel_zeruel's immediate female family members or his girlfriend to be with me. I end up dragging [livejournal.com profile] yukitsu over to make sure I don't cancel the thing altogether. Sorry about that, minna. >_>
  • Doc tells me to get an MRI. DM planing pushed back again. MRI was long and not as scary as medical dramas crank it up to be, and I get my results tomorrow. May get left behind over the weekend while the rest of my family goes to Puerto Galera. ._.
  • DM planning eventually ensues after [livejournal.com profile] yukitsu and I arrive there after 5:00 PM. Ph33r, Panzer Division. Ph33r.

House has cursed me. I'm suddenly getting all these sicknesses and conditions now that I'm following the series. =_= *wants to watch episode 16 anyway*

On another note, Air was better than I thought it'd be. MUCH better. Shouldn't have watched the TV series first though, because the campy animation of the movie turned me off, especially since it basically tells the same story as the anime. The only difference is that it has an even sadder ending. .__.

...I'll go draw up that long overdue mod post for LO now.
...Wow, the wireless in ADMU works again. o_o

Sitting around with Laptop!Aidan waiting for [livejournal.com profile] archangel_dream at this moment, who is in dire need of a dinner out after stupid fucking Ateneans who have the balls to call themselves responsible seniors certain unscrupulous individuals in her Aesthetics class decided to screw up her report. Among other things. *glomps*

I've realized how much I missed this campus. Yes, yes, I'm going sappy. Seriously though, the Dela Costa smoket is so nice. Weather's cooperative too, so here's to Gudangs.

*brushes the dust off Laptop!Aidan* ...Ew. I need to clean this thing.

So. Cue random fangirl moment.

  • ...Heroes in roughly 31 days. THE PAIN. T_T
  • As of Rome Season II episode 9, Marc Anthony is officially scr00d.
  • Can anyone tell me whether Prison Break is worth it? Unbiased opinion preferred. No, I don't see the guys as a reason to watch. Opinion on Battlestar Galactica would also be appreciated. That said, chocolates and kisses to whoever can get me Desperate Housewives, 24 and CSI so's I dun have to download them no more! *_*
  • Um. Pumpkin Scissors ended all right, I guess. Maybe. ...Tabun.
  • Sometimes I wonder why I even bothered with Hana Yori Dango Live Action.
  • Red Garden ended better.
  • KINGDOM HEARTS II FINAL MIX PLUS PWNS MY SOUL. Now I wish I could pick up Japanese and LEARN it this time just to play. T_T
  • ...Yep. Should definitely finish Final Fantasy 12.
  • [livejournal.com profile] kye_kestrel! *tug tug* Ghost Hunt 23! o_o!
  • Nearly all the anime series I'm currently following are wrapping up soon. Calling all fangirls and fanboys to give me recommendations on what to download next~

ATTENTION PANZER DIVISION: A Plan B venue has been found, so we will probably not go to Makati. [livejournal.com profile] miyachan, no worries there. Just text or IM me so's I can give you the details. Same goes to you, [livejournal.com profile] seranx.

No drabbles to post just yet. Horrific, isn't it? D:

I think I miss her now. I think it's high time we fixed things.

I'll update again when this day's over.

EDIT, 9:31 PM: Day over! ...That was enjoyable. o_o I have missed you muchly, [livejournal.com profile] saisun. And [livejournal.com profile] archangel_dream: GET SOME REST! D:
