Having to log in by leaving a comment in my own LJ is beginning to piss me off. I still don't understand why LJ just won't function properly on Alistair. >_>

On better news, thanks for today, girls. You now who you are. And yes, [livejournal.com profile] fruitea, I owe you lots of burns for your birthday gift, and maybe even KHII if you still haven't secured it by the time you really want it. :3

Little brother and I ought to be playing KHII by now, but as he isn't home yet, here I am. Still plodding my way through the last set for the 60-60-60 too... I wanna finish it as early as I can before the ideas taper out. My muse is still being indecisive. ._.

It's weird, but I've only been taking one full meal lately. Body's acting all strange.

Darnit, I wanna know my grades already. ;_;

Down for the count with one (painfully) clogged ear, a weak right ankle, an achy left wrist and a bit of a cold. Seems like my body's decided to summon all of the aches I've developed over the semester at this moment, when it's almost all over.

On a lighter note, my parents went off and bought me a new electric fan. It's silvery and pretty and has a remote control. *_*

Should be studying for Math and the rest. I think I will do that in a moment, if only to put myself at ease.

Sushi is a nice enough way to end the semester, but now I'm inclined to believe that drinking hot sake on the eve of my last exam would be an even better option.

I sleep at 10:20 last night looking forward to sleeping in all the way until 10 or so the next day only to wake up at 4:20 because of a fucked-up dream that I have involving my overcutting of a class that I didn't know I had because I did my Math wrong regarding my units.

Read: this is not right.

On other news, I am actually passing Math, and passing it well. And the laptop dream will no longer be a dream soon. And Pio is leaving for the States and I won't be seeing him from six months after Saturday.

Wondering whether I should skip off to school at the usual time and do nothing all the way until 1:30, since that's the time that [livejournal.com profile] ezraelandvari and [livejournal.com profile] fruitea are having their presentation in History 16. No Retellings class, and unless a cataclysmic event occurs between now and 3:30 there will be Lit Crit.

...Then again, I doubt Sir Pulan would cancel class even if the Brits were coming, or something.

Guh. Not coherent. -_-

*wanders off to watch QaF*

EDIT: After much deep reflection and two and a half episodes of QaF.

EDIT II: Jesus Lordy, I've evolved. @_@

I am a d8

Take the quiz at dicepool.com

No use trying to fight it, you're an eight-sided die, a d8. A fine example of simple elegance, the d8 is one of the least appreciated types of dice, and is often neglected. You are known to be quiet and shy, outward traits that conceal viscous sarcasm and mean wit. You are very smart, yet wise enough to hide your intelligence the quicker they found out how smart you are, the sooner they'll put you to work, which is something you can do without. People call you dark and pessimistic, or moody and cynical. You find little point in arguing.

I was a d4 last time. What's with me and the number 4? >__>

Updating from Nikolai. This makes me want that laptop even more. Good thing the parents are receptive towards the idea. I will be naming him Aidan in all likelihood. :3 Will be changing the name of one of Alistair's drives to Ouki as a result. Alistair is sure to be sad.

Numb towards requirements. I've got my midterm orals exam for Philosophy tomorrow (part of the reason why I can't make it to the RoD meet this time around ~_~), Retellings critical analysis of the Met's take on Romeo & Juliet (4 pages in; debating on whether I should bother with editing), Long Test #3 in Math 12 on Tuesdays (read: scr00d on Singles Awareness Day), Battle Royale analysis for Ethics with [livejournal.com profile] pyrosinferno somewhere next month and the Retellings compilation thingie (7 pages and counting for my yakuza Cinderella~ <3). There will be other things in the coming weeks, I'm sure.

Somebody tell me that I'm not the only one in the audience who's feeling weird over the passage of this semester. @_@

Annoyance over being kicked out of Retellings is slow to pass. It wouldn't have happened if I had known about what was going on. I asked, nobody told. Oh well. =_=

LO ladies, if I'm coming to turn up tomorrow it'll only be for the dinner or what-have-you that will be happening afterward. Details as to where you all will be following the RoD meet are needed.

I still hold by the fact that Sentou Yousei Yukikaze is one of the best science fiction series I've watched yet. Five episodes long, and each of them's pure love. If you haven't watched it already and you're unwilling to do the BT piracy rounds online, folks, it'll be coming out on Animax. The rampant boy love in it brought about by the fact that it's gay without ever meaning to be is a plus too.
X-posted to all the usual places.

One midterms test down. Two more to go. Finished one of the two papers also. And by some miracle, I passed my second long test. 65. Not bad, given the fact that I was expecting 50 or below. @_@

Did I mention that I just blew close to 7,000 bucks on books and comics in the last three days?

This one's slightly delayed, and because of PC problems the creation of the LJ for Citrus Avenue has been delayed also. [livejournal.com profile] ezraelandvari and I shall get to it sooner or later. In the meantime, here's Deja Entendu for your reading pleasure. Heads up, A x R fans. >D

(( Deja Entendu: Aidan Clayce & Rethe Kyriff in Eleven Ways ))

Now for a mini-survey: which Citrus project do you want to see first? Choose one, or two (or even three), but PLEASE don't say all. o_o;; Choices are as follows:
Strange & Beautiful - Maes x Nikolai
Black Market Music - Hiroshi x Hikaru (pre-Citrus)
Soviet Kitsch - Ires & Natalia
From the Choirgirl Hotel - Neeka x Emir
Untitled - Roman x Jilly
Auf Asche - Takeo x Ritsu
Serve Chilled - Mafuyu x Yue
A Love Affair - Sein x Beatrix
My Favorite Game - Hiroshi x Yukio
Untitled - Lorenzo x Naiara
Low Place Like Home - Alistair x Aidan / Aidan, Calintz & Rilea (pre-Citrus)
Demon Days - Alistair, Mikhail & Hikaru (post-Lullabies to Paralyze)

Of the ones mentioned, four have bits and pieces for them sitting on our PCs. We're working on other stuff, but I can't elaborate beyond that. Spoilers. ^-^

EDIT: I meticulously format everything only to find out that the story's too goddamned long for LJ. >___> Anyhow, it's in PDF. Thar we have it.
Yahoo! Services are being trippy on me today, and I don't mean that in a good way. o_o;; At least the downloads are working fine. I don't know what I'd do if I couldn't download all that stuff waiting for me on #lurk.

Kingdom of Loathing has stolen just about everyone I know and love from me.

So. What happened to me this weekend. Generally speaking, nothing but my final orals exam in Philosophy (dunno how I did on that one) and studying. And a half-day out with [livejournal.com profile] omnicresence, which involved the Ateneo Cafeteria (noise and all) and a later change of scenery to Teriyaki Boy and Cheesecake Etc. at Eastwood City. I wanted to drop in on [livejournal.com profile] ezraelandvari during her little brother's birthday party, but there were driver problems. .-.

85 points to pass Math 11 once and for all. Applause, please. *bows* The test is on Tuesday and I'm about 80% done studying for it. Right now, my immediate concern is with Lit Crit, as studying for that involves re-writing all my notes, and I don't think I'm even halfway through with that. How are the rest of you Ateneans doing on the brink of finals?

I have Chinese Lit orals tomorrow. I realize that. I don't really care. :3

Did I mention that Nana's one of the more intriguing shoujo manga series that I've read yet?

EDIT: Right when I tried to post this, LJ took a cue from Yahoo! and decided to make it difficult for me. Wrrrrrrrry. x_X

Fwee. Scraped a 3.75 (somehow) on the last paper I've had to submit for Philosophy 101... that's an unexpected B+/A. Part of me wants to frame it. Lord knows I need something to bolster the self-esteem. :3

Will be finding out the results of my last Math 11 long test tomorrow. I've a general idea of how well I did, but here's hoping anyway. With the final exam looming on the horizon, I will need every point I can muster in order to pass this course.

When it's over, it's over. And I'll be glad.

Much <3 to [livejournal.com profile] fruitea and [livejournal.com profile] ezraelandvari and a congratulations to doing all right on their report for Socio-Antropology. Their teacher's exemplary of the brain drain that their final paper was written for, but it's all good in the end, right? Let's hope she's not a priss with grading.

The last meeting we had for Shakespeare was quite pleasant. Sir Abola got a whole lot nicer... he's been a little soft ever since midterms season. Wonder why.

So here's the almighty Exam Schedule on my end of the fence.

08 October 2005 (SATURDAY): 10:00 am, Philosophy Orals at the Dean's Office. <-- [livejournal.com profile] omnicresence, I may be able to meet you for a time after this. And yes, [livejournal.com profile] vaguechaos, I owe you my Philosophy book.
10 October 2005 (MONDAY): 9:45 am, Literature 171 (Chinese Lit) Orals at the Social Sciences Building
11 October 2005 (TUESDAY): 11:30 am-1:30 pm, Math 11 Finals & 3:00-6:00 pm, Literature 146 (Shakespeare) Finals. <--dying starts here.
12 October 2005 (WEDNESDAY): 3:30-5:00 pm, Literature 112.1 (Lit Crit) Finals.
13 October 2005 (THURSDAY): 11:30-1:30 pm, Theology 131 Finals.
14 October 2005 (FRIDAY): Nothing but the submission of one last paper in Lit Crit.

Ateneans on the flist, how are your schedules looking? Anyone up for a chill session after it's all over?

For all interested parties who didn't already know: [livejournal.com profile] team7 is starting up Four-Cats again. It's an online publication that will serialize original fiction and feature new short stories every month. Go here for details.

So. On today.

Ho-hum. Woke up thirty minutes late because of vague dreams. Munched on pandesal buns with ham stuffed into them while [livejournal.com profile] makintash and I discussed how exactly we dream. He dreams in stillframes, I in full-length movies.

Philosophy class was on historcity (again). Stupid classmate proved that he read and understood nothing by reciting (again). I will miss Dr. Garcia over the sem break, though I doubt I'll miss stupidity.

Skipped Theology to study Math, in which my brain promptly liquified and bled out of my eyes through tears. Subjected Cousin, [livejournal.com profile] seranx, [livejournal.com profile] vaguechaos and Joanne to my zaniness. [livejournal.com profile] hel_interrupted moved to ploy fanboy's demise. [livejournal.com profile] ezraelandvari was busy. No [livejournal.com profile] miguel_zeruel, [livejournal.com profile] khursten and [livejournal.com profile] archangel_dream in sight.

Found out from [livejournal.com profile] miyachan when she and [livejournal.com profile] saisun dropped by that [livejournal.com profile] magnetic_rose's birthday celebration is this Saturday and it's the weekend before finals so I can't go. I'm none too happy about that. Discussed the correlation between friendship and distance with [livejournal.com profile] heiz later in the afternoon. Maybe the issues are related.

After finally giving us the schedule for our finals exam and breezing through the first half of The Tempest, Sir Exie fed us doughnuts and cream roll thingies. [livejournal.com profile] heiz was touched. I still think he's a condor. *fufu*

Long Test in Math tomorrow, finals next week and no papers in between. If this is how it is to stare into the eye of the storm, I don't know anymore.
