...I just had to scroll through an obscene number of LJ spam before making this post. o_o
RIGHT. Lemme qualify my statement. See, last Saturday, I wasn't feeling particularly hot (as my previous post indicated), so after Yukeh left that evening I decided that I wouldn't hold classes on Monday in order to rest up and work on whatever I couldsince 9 units of teaching + 9 units of studying stuff at the masteral level means INSTANT DEATH. Dad was semi-vocal about my decision, but I ignored him -- I figured that giving a free cut to get back on my feet was better than pushing myself and possibly crashing & burning.
I wake up sometime on Sunday morning to howling winds and a steady downpour. Classes on Monday were declared canceled, and Ateneo only managed to make it up to the second or third period before they sent students home.
Dad is now convinced that I am a weather vane.
That said, let's look at today. I woke up at 5:50, the time I was supposed to be out of the house: I stumbled around in a half-blind daze, but otherwise managed to drag myself and my brother out on time. Managed to teach my morning classes well enough and sit through a departmental meeting before I suddenly sicked up sometime before my Lit 13 class. I agonized over things for a while, and eventually decided that I should do the smart thing and go home early rather than suffer through the rest of my EXTREME WEDNESDAY SCHEDULE!, since, if I stayed, I would probably puke onthe Gothopotamus someone or faint somewhere down the line.
I prepare to leave and tell Ate Josie that I won't be available for Gothic Lit. She tells me that my professor called in sick and wouldn't have been able to see my class either way.
Need I say more?
I am Swamped With Work, and that, beyond the fact that I've only been doing this schedule for three weeks, might be the reason why I am feeling absolutely shitty. Basically, I have:
Headache's getting worse, although plurking my afternoon away and watching Peter play Assassin's Creed helped for a time. I'll prolly turn in pretty earlyunless Plurking eats me alive and do workworkwork the whole day tomorrow.
No music this time. I don't think I have the energy to make a good post.
On other news, The Incredible Hulk was pretty cool, but I think that it would have come off as cooler if it had come before Iron Man.

I am Swamped With Work, and that, beyond the fact that I've only been doing this schedule for three weeks, might be the reason why I am feeling absolutely shitty. Basically, I have:
- Four readings to do for Lit 201. One of them is my report, which means that I have to make a sentence outline and check two secondary sources for comparison/contrasting AND write up a critique for it.
- Two journal articles to read, also for Lit 201. I have to make critiques for these too.
- A report on Lovecraft to prepare for my next Gothic Lit class section.
- Papers to check by Friday. Weekly essay in both my En11 classes will be due. I will also have to check their alternative framework exercises.
- Lesson plans to make, because I think I better start doing things WAY IN ADVANCE to preserve my sanity.

You could spin this into a successful (and profitable!) television career. I'm just saying.
