Petrik celebrated his birthday with the rest of the Punzalan kids on the 9th with a delishus lunch in the office! It's kind of lulzy how half my family has birthdays this month, with me being one of them. ANYWAY, it was really nice, lounging around and talking with the bros that I don't usually get to see around~

After that, I met up with khursten and yukitsu in order to check up on B. My prayers still go out to her - she's had a rough time as of late, and that, for those of you who do know what's up, is a dire understatement.

Slept late into the next morning due to srs plottage for theskytides and yescomrade museboxing, and then zoomed off to ADMU after I woke up from sleeping like a total rock! I've gotten most of my pre-sem teacher stuff out of the way, and I got to catch up with my colleagues in the English Department, which is always cool.

Best part about yesterday, though, was hanging out with lainewell, dark_profanity and their friend Viktor after I gave up on finishing my registration! MUCH INSANITY ENSUED.

I'm currently chillaxing at home - I feel the need to rest, since my hours have been odd lately. Enjoying the shiny laptop speakers that my dad has loaned to me indefinitely, along with the fact that we seem to have fixed our internet connection (with no thanks to PLDT). See, my dad figured that some of our defective phones might be bleeding into the connection, since we're all still using one line... now we're thinking of getting a direct line for the net from the box in order to improve it further. When we all have the time to get someone to do it for us. IN THE MEANTIME, THOUGH, IT IS GOOD ENOUGH. *w*

And on other random things:

So like, after nearly a month of saving and obsessively fixing, I have finally arranged all of my icons and changed all of the sets on all relevant accounts, DW and LJ. I haven't fixed the sets on my RP accounts yet now that I have some new things, but I'll get there soon enough.

Went off to the usual hospital for the usual blood work, which meant that I finally got to use my handy-dandy medical card. It's one of those delayed discount card things that basically gives you brownie points for getting sick all the time and using their services.

The only really fun part about it was being with mom again. It's always nice talking to her one-on-one. When I'm at home I sort of retreat into my corner and our dinner table conversations don't really count because Needy Older Brother generally steals the show. Anyway, s'nice. ♥

On other RL things: still haven't gotten the phone appraised, much less fixed. Blame it on the lazy.

Blinding sunlight aside, the weather's great down here, but I heard it's hot in other areas of the city. I do wish I could send some of the breeze we've been getting down over to some of my friends - it's quite nice.

ADMU things: Puttered off to ADMU to see if I could hook up with the Faura crowd (AND I DID AND IT WAS MARVELOUS), so I figured I might as well pick up my report card. Good thing I did too, because it turns out that I totally aced my second semester. FLAT 4.0 QPI, BB. ...But all good things come hand-in-hand with HOSHITFREAKOUT stuff, and I'll have to go back to school tomorrow to meet with the Chair. Idk why, it's supposed to be routine, but... yeah. @_@

Family things: Going to Batangas over the weekend since Older Brother #1 is having his wedding ceremony there - he and my sister-in-law Yas have been legally married for the past five years, so this is a really big thing, finally getting to see them walk down the aisle in church and all. That also means I'm internet-less for a while, but I think I need the break anyway.

House things: I know I only mentioned this in passing, so I suppose I ought to announce it now... I've been camping out in my brother's room along with all my stuff for nearly two weeks now because my own room is being renovated. We're getting rid of the furniture, repainting, remodeling and yeah... so far, so good, so I promise I'll have pictures up once everything is set. I also demand a room-warming sort of party thing when all is ready!

Fangirl things: SLKDHG;HSADHGHSAD SO MANY FUCKING SERIES TO WATCH AND GODDAMNIT FMA Y U DO DIS AND ALL THE NEW ANIMU IS SO SHINY BUT THANK GOD I'M DONE WITH ONE PIECE BUT I STILL HAVEN'T PUT A DENT IN MY MANGA BACKLOG ALTHOUGH THE MARATHONING WITH THE OTHER STUFF HAS ME SORTA UP TO SPEED aaaand I think I'll shut up now. orz

Girl things: Cramps this time of the month were terrible, but thank god it hit before I had to go out of town. Also: mom and I went to the mall intending to go home with just the underwear I needed for the gown, but we ended up buying under wear, sleep wear, every day wear, random wear, and... iyeah, you get the picture. Suddenly, I'm a woman again. o_o

Writer things: This post is supposed to have shiny fic things since I've been accumulating finished stuff over the past few weeks, but... uh. B-BUT I PROMISE TO HAVE STUFF NEXT TIME. /twiddles

RP things: Srsly thinking of dropping stuff in favor of other things and more time to the stuff that matters, but theskytides is marvelous, as always. Also, I am having way too much fun playing Roy Mustang. Srsly.


Not-so-randomly, I seriously miss the koushien people. Summer's been good to me in terms of reconnecting and I know I've been hanging out with you guys as much as I can, but I feel the need to maximize the time before school drags me off. ;;

I've spent the last two days waking up early and puttering off to the office to use the fapworthy connection down there - I'm finally at home since Dad's not going to the office anyway, and it'll look weird if the daughter of the CEO is there while the CEO's nowhere to be found. o_o So, lolworthynet for me today~

I know I ought to fix the connection that we have down here at the house, but with Holy Week just around the corner, it's probably going to be pointless to call. I'll bug them to death after the festivities die down.

Anyway, in between net-mooching timez and tagging, I've been making good time with that backlog, both on the level of watching AND downloading. All the seasons of everything I've been following have been pretty cool, with the exception of The L Word. I just have one thing to say about that show:

Thank God it's over.

To balance out THAT fail, I've finally started on Gintama. Watching it now makes me wonder why I didn't bother starting it sooner.

Just got three fics to quickpimp. I've set a daily quota for myself: at least 1,000 words of anything every day until school kicks in. In as much as I'd like to complete my big projects, I also want to enjoy my break. We'll just see how that goes.
