Yayness. Internet's back up. Yayness. *stashes away all of the weapons of mass destruction she had amassed in order to storm PLDT's main office in an act of protest*

Today was a BLAST. After bumming around on campus for about another hour after scribbling in that last entry (*pst!* Look below!), Khursten and I headed over the Blue Eagle Gym to scope out the results of the latest ACET (again, congratulations to all those who made it, WAITLISTED ONES INCLUDED DAMMIT!). Met up with Fatims... we haven't seen each other for practically a year, so she was like "PAM!" and I was like "FATIMS!" and we were both like "^______________^". Khursten was thoroughly amused.

RANT FEST: I dunno why people make such a big deal about waitlisting. My honest belief is that waitlisting is just a method that the administration put up in order to give those who completely passed an ego boost. I mean, just because you're waitlisted doesn't mean that you're lower than those who weren't. Frankly, I flash the finger to all the people who ever rubbed their making it into the faces of all those who were waitlisted. I'd name drop, but I'm feeling nice tonight.

Moving on.

After my little reunion (one in which I and just about everyone else who came in our direction received vanilla lollipops from one of my stranger acquaintances), Khursten and I headed off for Glorietta; senpai told me about her glory days in La Salle. It left her wondering why she even bothered leaving La Salle for a bit. ;^_^ That was cute. We parked, ran into Tessa along the way, accompanied Tessa back to her car, then killed some time before the movie wandering around. Saw a number of interesting shops, one of which was a tea specialty shop that I absolutely have to drag my mom back to at all costs one day.

YAOI-ABLE ALERT: Over lunch, Tessa made me listen to the Nickelback song "Figured You Out". It is, by far, THE MOST GAY SONG I HAVE EVER HEARD IN MY LIFE!

...

That makes it absolutely lovely.

*huge grin*

It was around 2-3 when we met up with Rotch;Lyn joined us later on, followed by Rotch's girlfriend Rael, Jasmine and and another girl whose name I sadly forgot (mengo~!). We stopped by the stand to buy popcorn (the place reeked of oil, so much so that you could feel your heart stopping at least a mile away), then headed into the theater. Saw a number of interesting previews before the start of The Return of the King.

Repeat. Return of the King.

o_O

*is quickly reduced to a blabbering blob of nonsensical odds and ends*

Don't get me wrong. It was a WONDERFUL movie, and absolutely BEYOND DESCRIPTION. Despite a number of extremely gay parts that made me thankful that I had finished Chapter 40 of Endtimes WELL before watching ROTK, I was NOT disappointed. On another note, watching with the Khursten crew is quite the experience. For the sake of your continuing sanity and my own, I will not elaborate. ^________^

It was almost 8 o'clock by the time the movie ended; all of us wandered out of it with the feeling that any more time in the theater and our legs would have atrophied and dropped off. Rael, Jasmine and the other girl had to leave us, so the rest of us piled into Starbucks at the 6750 Building for more talk and laughter. Got picked up by driver at 9:15, and I quickly partook of the new CD I purchased at Tower Records earlier that day (a lovely, P450 2-disc said entitled "The Headbanger's Ball"). Was mesmerized by the site of a single full moon in a starless sky all the way home.

*flexes fingers*

After I take a bath, I am going to get pounding on Endtimes again. Watching ROTK made me realize that I have seriously downplayed Rethe's abilities, and I would like to take some time out to rectify that injustice.
