OMG IT'S ANOTHER "REGISTRATION WAS HELL" STORY!!!!111oneoneone

Surprised?

The Lowdown

[8:00 AM] ADAA had no idea what I was talking about when I asked about my regform, which was supposed to be available ONLY on June 9 according to the instructions. The truth: I could've gotten it on June 4 after all. Ran down to Belarmine and waited for them to print it out.

[8:45 AM] Things looked deceptively simple up until the point that I discovered the lit electives they signed me up for got mixed up, along with FA 174.7 (Comics Class). Cue 2 hours of waiting around on buffering.

[10:45 AM] The Prestigious Theology Department of Ateneo de Manila University Headed By None Other than Doctor Rosana Herself has apparently decided to take the holier-than-thou approach and refuses to let people buffer into ANY of their classes, regardless of whether they need these classes or not. I have to run to Dela Costa to get re-advised. Consequence in the long run includes me having to take Theology 141 next semester alongside my thesis class and Third World Lit II. This, you will note, is the thing I'm pissed off about the most.

[11:00 AM] Parentals suddenly spring the need to have lunch for my brother's birthday. I'm forced to cancel on my end -- was meeting with [livejournal.com profile] yukitsu and I didn't feel up to telling her to go all the way to Paranaque after she'd traveled in the rain to meet me.

[12:00 to 6:00 PM] The day is saved by Gudang menthols, McDonald's meals and great company.

SATURDAYS

Not a bad schedule at all, if I do say so myself. It leaves time for studying, plotting crack writing, working out/swimming, singing lessons with my Dad and driving lessons on the automatic cars at home.

It was positively thrilling to see [livejournal.com profile] panda_patuti, [livejournal.com profile] udon_in_osaka, [livejournal.com profile] gitarangmakulay, Carlito, Drea and Yukeh again... we had fun talking crack, celebrating porn, reminiscing on old times and snarking at syntax and horrendous grammar. Got to meet [livejournal.com profile] osmalic about Lights Out trade matters (I loved the shirt! *_*), and had random run-ins with [livejournal.com profile] pyrosinferno and [livejournal.com profile] soggy_biscuit, with the latter suffering through the worst of registration woes with me. I also got to update myself on the happenings of the old block, which is always a good thing.

Parents are glad to see me excited for the new semester, and I'm glad to see me happy too. I've got a lot of things planned -- we'll just have to see how it all works out.

Really, though. I still think the Theology Department should go up in flames. o_o

EDIT: Okay. The English Department fails also.

Had a great time, myself. XD I wouldn't have minded, though, if you had to go to lunch with the rents. O: You know me.

... Hahaha. Porn porn porn.
