Huhu, crammed the last two days into one entry. HEAD'S UP FOR MORE IMAGES~~~
Parts I and II are here and here, btw!
Day Three (May 31)
Brealfast came MUCH faster this time, although the lot of us were kinda achy from yesterday. OH BUT MY PERIOD PRETTY MUCH ENDED ON THIS DAY, FUCK YEAH. Just in time for all the diving we did too...
We went to three dive spots. Got no underwater pictures, of course, but Tita Alen recently uploaded her set to Facebook. I'll fish some of the really cool ones out soon, and make a new entry for them!

Note: that little yellow buoy marks the spot where the wreck is. XD
The first dive spot was a shipwreck; it was already nifty on its own. The second one was HUGE, though. Also vaguely creepy, since you could clearly see the windows and empty deck and stuff from above. Part of the top was also close enough to stand on and touch. OTL

The third dive spot was over at Siete Picadas (the Seven Islands). Beautiful, beautiful spot, with remarkable visibility in a lot of the sections - you were also allowed to feed the fish and watch them swarm all over you.

I totally have to go back here.

It's always surreal, going out and snorkeling. Coron's reefs are like gardens, and the fish literally swim all over you. A lot of them come up close and are all "WHO IS THIS PERSON IN MY HOOD?! owo" too. XD
The funky thing about tropical boat rides is how you can see the rain coming. It's an amazing experience, both underwater and topside. Dad did his McGuyver thing, of course, when we found ourselves caught up in a small rainshower. I do wonder if I'm ever going to end up like that or if I'll be super careless.
I got inspired on the boat ride. I think I know where to send the Kilthei in Bloodsport for their first out-of-town mission: island hoping in some uber tropical place to catalog the othernaturals in the area!
Also, my new goal for my tabletop campaigns is to force the PCs to go diving! \o/
Aaaand lastly, it's kind of funny how my childhood obsession with the sea reignites every time I go down there. I remember bits and pieces of trivia, and some of the names (or at least the physical appearance) of a lot of the fish and coral. And, once again, after all of that snorkeling I seriously considered scuba diving with my father again.

Coron really has a different feel from the likes of Boracay. It's nice and chill and isolated, yet it has its ways of staying connected to the rest of the world without losing too much of itself.
Went to this lovely pizzeria for dinner - ate some kickass barbecue while waiting for the dishes!

Couldn't take pictures of the pizza, though. Everyone else was too fast!
We Filipinos are such foodies. We have snacks and drinks on us no matter where we are or what time it is, and we're ALWAYS thinking or talking about the next meal.
I believe I am at least three shades darker than I'm supposed to be, and I've got small sunburns. That's after religiously applying sunblock in between each dive or while in transit, mind you! D:
Managed to snag wi-fi on the phone for a bit, just to check my mail. ...Sob, tags. OTL
The rocking boat sensation you get after being out at sea for too long is so very pesky. I wonder if I was just really tired at the time and therefore vulnerable, or if it actually made me more exhausted than I ought to feel.
Cousins were going to leave ahead of us, so we started another session of Last Night on Earth before dinner. Was too tired to continue it with them by the time we got back to the hotel that night though.
Day Four (June 1)
Relaxing last day was relaxing! The original plan was t ogo hiking up this mountain (700-something steps for a panoramic view of the islands), but after snorkeling a lot and running around for three days straight, getting up at 5 AM to make that climb did NOT sound appealing, especially to Peter and I. Our parents weren't about to leave us behind either. |D

After packing and making sure that all of our stuff was in order, we went out to this souvenir shop to grab some things for the people back at home. Ended up spending pretty much all the money I got here, since I wanted to make sure that I had something nice to bring to the household help and my friends~
Here's a picture of the shop entrance. We must've spent at least an hour in there...

We ate lunch at this grill place! We were their first customers~ I snapped a lot of pictures since the whole place was really nice. It also had this funky ruined building thing behind it.

The decorations accenting the area looked like they were made from recyclable materials. They also had a nifty souvenir shop, although they weren't selling any of the stuff that really fascinated me. ._.

And here's what we had for lunch. GLORIOUS GRILLED THINGS.

We zipped back to the hotel right afterward to pick up our things, and then it was off to the domestic airport! Weather was at its worst for a bit, but cleared up while we were waiting for the plane to take us home.

Talked with my bros in the terminal, and ended up with my older brother beside the plane. I let him talk on while I got some writing done.

There's my family taking the escalator down to the baggage claim area back in Manila~

We didn't have to wait too long before our stuff came, and the driver arrived soon after. Traffic was our rude WELCOME HOME from the city, but we broke the monotony with a stopover to the Podium since mom wanted to get a swimsuit at the Speedo branch there. I got to buy a pint of Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough ice cream from Sebastian's, and pick up my VERY LATE birthday gift for
yukitsu from the DVD store!
Unpacked as soon as I got home, and managed to catch up pretty quick~ it was good to be back home, but Coron was absolutely glorious.

By the way, are such exotic arrangement for a restaurant (with the combination of bamboo, shells and glass) quite common in the Philippines? Or just in certain areas?
