Waking up with a cold this morning pushed the big red Panic Button in my head, and Mom didn't exactly help there ("You were sick like that just last month! And you have a history of cancer now! ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN!" D:), so I ended up going to the doctor's office before my classes for the day in order to put both our fears to rest. Thankfully, the doctor said that it's probably an allergy due to the dust that my neighbor's construction work is kicking up. Still: Cold = NOT COOL.

THESIS UPDATE: I took [livejournal.com profile] yuktisu's advice and threw together a comprehensive outline with quotations in lieu of a fully written speech... I realize that I really do a lot better with something more or less imipromptu, and to make matters worse, speechifying my thesis seemed impossible. ~_~ Well, now that the outline is out of the way, I just have to work on the Powerpoint presentation and I'm good to go. I'm still not sure what time I'll be presenting, but it will still be held on February 22 sometime in the afternoon.

Now, onto other school matters.

Sniffles and dizziness aside, today was cracktastic. My beloved blockmate [livejournal.com profile] pyrosinferno played substitute prof for the second time in Third World Literature II class, where he did a very impressive impersonation of our professor and basically facilitated the liveliest class discussion that we have had in a while. We got a bit sidetracked by one of our classmates, though... she's very fond of giving convoluted, over-politicized analyses of the texts at hand.

*cough*

Anyway, on my way to Theology class I found out that today was the last day for toga fitting. Cue me cutting half of my class in order to get that done. >_> My group and I also met up with our professor afterward in order to discuss our final presentation.

That said, here's the Almighty Dates & Dos List:

FEBRUARY 14 (...What do you know? That's tomorrow!): Rush over to Ateneo in the morning, rendezvous with [livejournal.com profile] le_esperance and proceed to bug our professor about our group presentation.
FEBRUARY 15:: Regular classes + the last thesis meeting before D-Day. Expect a post about this one when it comes. ~_~
FEBRUARY 16-17: Final Fantasy Tactics tiem Free day. Will probably study for my Theology final exam and/or start on my Powerpoint.
FEBRUARY 18: Last day of regular classes.
FEBRUARY 19: PANIC TIEM I.
FEBRUARY 20: SENIOR'S LIT CONFERENCE (DAY ONE).
FEBRUARY 21: PANIC TIEM II.
FEBRUARY 22: SENIOR'S LIT CONFERENCE (LAST DAY) + THEOLOGY GROUP PRESENTATION.
FEBRUARY 23-24: Final Fantasy Tactics tiem Unwind just a bit + study for my final exam in Theology.
FEBRUARY 25: FINAL EXAM FOR THEOLOGY.
FEBRUARY 26-28: Final Fantasy Tactics tiem Revise my thesis for the last effing time.
FEBRUARY 29: SUBMISSION OF UNDERGRAD THESIS.

As you all can see, Final Fantasy Tactics is srz biznez.

It's a long, hard road all the way until graduation.
