The first day of Real Life.

Woke up at 10 AM without a deadline to roll me out of bed or the sound of the construction workers over at our neighbor's house banging away at their ceiling. It was fucking glorious.

I told myself that I was going to get started on World of Darkness stuff again (I've been doing that on and off ever since I dreamt about the campaign I am running with hamster_friend), but I ended up doing the following instead:

• Putting up a new layout. I killed about 2-3 hours trying to figure out how to code templates for this other header I have lying around, but I eventually gave up and fixed this one up instead. I CAN HAS GOKUDERA! ♥
  
• Replaced my Persona 3 mood theme with a Tengen Toppa Gurren-Lagann one. Because my drill must pierce the heavens. I'll prolly go off and upload more mood themes after I finish this entry.
  
• Replaced nearly all of my icons. Again. Like I usually do every 3-14 days or so. It's a fairly weird bunch, since I have a shitload of icons and I try to mix and match the icons I really, really want to use ASAP with other icons that I'm okay or lukewarm with. ...I'm weird, I know. Iconage is an art for me, even if I can't make my own. x_X
  
• Downloaded an extra browser that makes uploading photos to Photobucket as easy as teh shiz, for great mood-theme-uploading justice.
  

...Oh yeah, that reminds me! TO THE PHOTOSHOPPING/IMAGING GENIUSES ON MY F-LIST: I still really, really want to use that header I tried coding up a layout for, but it's just too small to be manageable for the sort of look I'd prefer on my LJ. Might I know who'd be willing to help me with expanding it and such? T_T

Having a paid LJ account gives one an excuse to use up one's whole day doing otherwise useless internet things just because you want your desktop to sparkle for you. o_o To be honest, though, I've been meaning to do all of this for a while, but my workload over the semester kept me really busy. Now that it's all over, though, I have the privilege of occupying myself with little things like these.


I do solemnly swear to go back to writing as soon as I finish WoD stuff.

Well, I was thinking of adding on the image I wanna use... like, extending it to the left/to the right/both ways. Cept, I has no Photoshop and no pretty effects to do so without making it look cheap. x_X

Expanding images without pixelating... I believe it's got something to do with vectoring. I dunno how to do that, though, so in the end it's all down to the effects.
