Here's all the music that I think I owe you guys. A MASSIVE DUMP IS MASSIVE.

Techno meets Science Fiction: The Mix that Every Veritech Pilot Needs in His Bird
Let me explain the logic of this mix. These are the songs for the space cowboys and the fly boys, and the music that I think every pilot needs to listen whether they're piloting a living jet whose totally in love with them, or if they're bungling around in mobile suits, or if they're shooting down alien scum.

Pendulum - Another Planet
I don't think I've mentioned this yet, but I'm of the opinion that Pendulum's music is just made for this sort of thing... it's kinda like how we Gundam Wing fans can never separate Two-Mix from the series. ...NO, I DIDN'T JUST INCLUDE THIS SONG BECAUSE OF THE TITLE, OKEY.

New Deal - Draft Any Funk
I know that with this song's baseline, most of you are thinking that this is the sort of thing you'd only really appreciate in a clubbing scene, but take a moment out to humor me. Put this track on and try and to imagine a dogfight with transforming mechs, missile volleys and high-flying shoot outs against aerial acrobatics. ...Idk, it works for me. o_o

Oliver Koletzki - Yes I Can Fly
This is another track that might be more fit for clubbing for some of us, but the title's pretty damned appropriate, and I can imagine playing Armored Core with this on my stereo quite clearly. Either that, or I can envision fights in the black void of space. It's THAT sort of thing for me.

Sister Machine Gun - To Hell With You
Let's put it this way: something that mech anime and stuff about pilots in general is that you always, ALWAYS have some sort of rival pair with dolloploads of UST that make us fujoshi seriously want to cream in our pants. ...This song goes out to just that sort of pairing, and their high-flying, high-shooting love.

Takkyu Ishino - Ninety-Three
Another excellent selection from EUREKA SEVEN -- this is the sort of beat that should play during training sorties, or those aerial races that our flyboys so love to have with each other.

The Chemical Brothers - Burst Generator
Some tracks are made to make you think of unbearably high skies and flying.

UNKLE feat. Gavin Clark - Keys to the Kingdom
This one's not as upbeat as the others in this track, and it's more of an overarching theme in the mix than anything else, but it's perhaps one of the prettiest I've got for this set.

Yousei Teikoku - Patriot Anthem
If you're a fan of mech anime, YOU HAVE TO DOWNLOAD THIS TRACK. I know that INNOCENT VENUS never got anywhere, but fuck... it's soundtrack. It's just... WELL, DOWNLOAD IT AND SEE WHAT I MEAN.

Love Songs Mix: Bittersweet & Strange
For the couples who always move two steps forward and one step back. For the lovers with regrets, with pasts they can't separate themselves from. For the pairs that we always wibble over because we're never sure they're going to work out.

Beirut - Cherbourg
And a fall from you is a long way down. / I found a better way. Beirut is just one of those bands where no real blurb is necessary. If you haven't heard them before, download this so that you can get what I mean.

Charlotte Martin - A Hopeless Attempt
Charlotte Martin's not well known down here in the Philippines, I think, and she's hard to get a hold of in spite of all my, ah, sources. *coughs* Still, I've become a huge fan of hers from the few tracks I have to work with. If you like Tori Amos, you might want to check Charlotte out.

Coldplay - Gravity
Baby, it's been a long time coming. Such a long, long time.

David Ford - The Spaces in Between
Between the Devil and the deep blue sea, I'm craving what I don't want.

Depeche Mode - Precious
Things get damaged, things get broken.

Dntel - Rock My Boat
Everything changes after that first taste.

Figurines - The Air We Breathe
Do you feel the air we breathe? Do you feel the things I see, and do you feel you close to me?

Foo Fighters - Razor
Most of us are fans of Foo Fighters because of their upbeat and catchy stuff, but their songs on this level deserve some recognition also. They're a really versatile band.

Gus - Don't Fear the Reaper
A song that's clever enough to correlate death and dying with the acts of passion is for the win in my book. ♥

Iron & Wine - Bird Stealing Bread
Because sometimes, the entrance of that irresistible third party gets in the way of our angst, and we learn to love them for it as much as it frustrates us.

Jerry Enigk - Set it On Fire
This is the kind of song that plays during those epiphanies we get after too much distance, too much time and too much rain.

Rachel Ries - Here We Lie in Wait
Maybe I'm just a sucker for girls with pianos and how they can make even the happiest topics sound wistful and sad, but this kind of music gets me every time. Another must download, along with the Charlotte Martin track.

Regina Spektor - Better (remix)
You'll feel better, better, better if you'll feel anything at all. I don't quite remember how the original of this track sounds, but I do like this one very much. Fans and non-fans alike, snag it if you're willing.

South - Paint the Silence
This is what all couples do when they're Awkward Turtling. B| Also note that this track is probably the happiest-sounding in this set. GOMEN NYAA?

Zazie & Pascal Obispo - Les Meilleurs Ennemis
Times like this made me wish I knew French. [livejournal.com profile] factorielle, HALP?
