My weekend started on Friday, and it was absolutely lovely. Lolled around in my room, pretending to work working on my syllabi for the classes I'll be teaching this semester. khursten, kye_kestrel and yukitsu turned up for another Sleepover Koushien at the Punzalan Residence. I GOT TO SLEEP WITH LYNFFLES WHILE KHURSTEN WAS RAPING YUKEH SOMEWHERE ON THE FLOOR. It was fuckin' glorious. 8D

new_treasures BUT SRSLY I REALLY GOT DERAILED BECAUSE I ENDED UP CLICKING ALL OVER THE PLACE AND FINDING ALL THIS DOUJINSHI! D18, FTW!. Birthday celebration took place in later in the afternoon. THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO MANAGED TO COME, I REALLY LOVE YOU GUYS. ♥♥♥
On a semi-related note: the scanlating team at Entropy, they really, really need a life. Maybe it will keep them from wanking. ...Maybe.
Sunday was a quiet affair, beyond the random strange of my family being the mass sponsors for the morning celebration. We all went out later that day to shop for school supplies... Trinoma was fucking crowded. I think it was because everything was on sale. Remind me to never go to a mall during a sale again unless I'm desperate. I have most of what I need for school and teaching now, though, so I suppose that's good? B|
I should be working on my syllabus for Lit 13, but I'm writing this entry instead. In fairness, I'm nearly done with it... took me hours to choose what I feel are the right stories. Here's hoping that it all works out.
By the way. Assassin's Creed is the coolest assassin game since Tenchu. Peter was having the time of his life playing it, and I think that it's only a matter of time before I try it out for myself.

Y'know, I'm still torn between getting a PS3 and a 360. I'm pretty sure I'll end up with a PS3, but there are some 360-exclusive titles that look nice...

There aren't that many PS3 exclusives I've really been excited about, so it'd take quite a bit to change my mind. I'm not really interested in what most RPGers have been looking forward to (FFXII, KH3, etc), and it seems like quite a few nice-looking games have been released in Japan for the 360 so if more are released stateside I'll definitely consider splurging.

Looks like we're complete opposites in that department then. XD I've been following KH pretty closely, so seeing the third one's pretty important. And FFXIII is on my hitlist because... well, it's FF. I've been there since day one, so I might as well check it out. There's also MGS4 to consider on my part, and the possibility of Atlus releases.
If I had a choice, I'd get both consoles. Just because....Now that I think about it, though, the likelihood of me getting a third gen console at all is pretty low. I can barely find time for my handheld, with the way things are going now. >_>

The first KH is one of my favorite games of all time, but I'm one of the few people who was actually kind of meh over KH2 compared to the first anyway. Maybe it was just that it seemed like less of a novel experience the second time around, and it was kind of missing that nostalgic, innocent quality that I liked in the first game. I guess because the characters are supposed to be maturing or whatever. Well in any case the first one made me really emotional and I just didn't get it from KH2. And the trailer for the 3rd one kind of turns me off. Don't worry, even if our opinions differ on that we are still definitely gaming nakama.
As for FF though, the game looks shiny but I've been sort of out of FF in general since FFX. Blah.
ATLUS RELEASES ARE AN AMAZINGLY GOOD POINT, HOWEVER.
Ah yeah, I don't put much time on my PS2 anymore. The only games I've played on it in months were P3 and Odin Sphere, and even those I didn't spend a whole lot of time playing. Plus there's the money issue. :S
