NaNoWriMo Official Status Report Number Two

So I dragged myself out of bed pretty damned early (because anything before 9 AM is early for me now) on the pretense of getting my grades in school, which didn't actually happen. ADMU's wonderful Regcom neglected to fix the dates for grad student shenanigans. THEIR COMPETENCE IS SOMETIMES A LIE.

Thankfully, though, faculty privileges include being able to view any student's grades through the AISIS system, including one's own. Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] pyrosinferno for teaching me that trick! ♥ To make a long story short, I got an A- on both the classes I took up... not bad, given the fact that I was teaching at the same time that I was taking those classes. I DID harbor this ridiculous hope of acing those subjects though, but... well. A- is the second highest grade. That just means that I'm capable of doing it with a little more push, perhaps.

On that note, I can finally post the academic paper that I wracked my brain over last semester. I am, however, creating a special filter where I will be posting that and any academic papers that I write in the future.

If you are interested in this filter, please comment here, and specify the LJ username that you want me to add up to it if you're not going for the account that you used to comment.

People who answered on Plurk don't have to comment again. Much love, guys. ♥

There's a teaching workshop tomorrow, but I'm probably going to skip it. I must take advantage of whatever I've got left of a vacation, you know.
