Today started out weird the moment I woke up at 11 AM. @_@ My body clock, ladies and gentlemen, is now completely screwed up. I owe it to the heat, the odd work hours and the fact that the only people worth talking to are the ones that log in after lunch and stay on until the small hours of the morning.
Things have been pretty slow here at the job, but I'm a little shy about asking my editor if there's anything for me to do because they all function so well together as a group. ._. Something tells me I'm just going to end up getting in the way. Hence, beyond a few filing requests and some proofreading, I'm a glorified leech in one corner, eating food, drinking Coke and listening to them sound off to each other and occasionally being joined into the conversation. Overall, it's fun, whether or not I do anything substantial at all.
Mai-Otome and a lot of the other shows I've been watching along with a healthy dose of reading material have brought about a throng of interesting things for my Muse to play with. As a result, I'm currently armed with printouts of all the writing prompts I can toy with, unfulfilled drabble requests from friends and random pairing ideas for The 69 Challenge. If no work comes in again, I'll probably spend the next six hours scribbling furiously in those notebooks. XD
On another note, 300 was such so great that I don't know where to begin with it, so I won't.
