Might I say that it's been a strange week? Lola Punzalan passed away on Monday morning, and since then I've been balancing classes and workload with visits to the wake. We buried her today at Heritage Park. She is the third person in that whole area to have a lot there.
More than a few tears were shed, but even more people even cared to show up, which was great for the family. Lolo Punzalan insists that she's in Taal. He's 95 and she was 88 and she died ahead of him. I guess it's his way of coping.
Cousin Stef is over with her knockout of a husband -- they'll be married soon. After the celebration the whole family (yes, the WHOLE FAMILY) is moseying down to Boracay for some beach fun. I guess I'll be going even though I said I wasn't.
Thinking about all of it makes me miss Phil.
