Tossed ideas around for Chapters 35, 36 and 37 with Khursten last night... had a crazy MSN conversation, as always. What matters is that my issues about 35 were resolved, and I managed to polish off 3 pages for 36. Happy days are here to stay.

Whoa.

A slow song from Ben Folds Five started playing on my Winamp and a particularly evil looking Alucard skin popped up with it. That's just... wrong.

*changes the song*

Ho-hum. Bored and not sure whether I'm loving it. I suppose it's better to laze around than get to work on something substantial for school. Who ever heard of working on a vacation? Reality is, as always, picturesque in its cruelty.

Spent the first two hours of my morning finishing off the last 200 pages or so of White Oleander. Twas a fantastic story... well worth the read. I'm entertaining the thought of picking up a copy of the movie for myself sometime in the future now. Went downstairs while reading the last few bits of it to eat breakfast; parents were poking fun each other, as always. Paolo came around, gabbing off about Final Fantasy X-2. He can make anybody sick of a game without even trying, with the way he just keeps talking and talking about it.

I think I would have listened, if he had just talked to me while I wasn't reading something like White Oleander. Then again, life is always about the decisions. You'll never know what you might have done if things had been different. Throw something at your beloved brother with no life, maybe.

Christmas Eve awaits. Good thing I've got the candy canes to tide me over (thanks again, Tessa!). It takes my mind off the cold I somehow developed between Friday and now even though I barely took a step out of the house.

Hmm. I really should start working though. Slacking off is a specialty of mine that shouldn't even be a talent in the first place.
