And that would be the fic that explains the "Superman sighting" in Gotham City in the Superman Returns movie. I can see it now: Batman, in a pinch, tied up and hanging upside-down, and Superman comes swooping down to save him, defeats the bad guys, removes the ties, before Batman punches him, kisses him, then yells, "Where the hell were you for the last five years?!"
