Weekend was crazy. Had to go out and buy gold sandals last minute for the wedding, and I joined the rest of my clan in the ritual of running around the house like headless chickens as we prepared. The mass went by quick, and it was followed by a whole evening full of partying. Best wedding celebration I've ever been to. It was so much fun that I actually sang a little bit for my cousin and her new hubbie.
Sunday was a double-baptism with a huge lunch and dinner event (karaoke aside) at the house. Hours were wiled away with Metal Gear Solid 3 (THANK YOU, COUSIN :3). We garnered an impressive audience made up of my male cousins and dined on chocolate coins given over by my little cousins (adorable girls, all of them).
Monday. Haha. Monday. Back to school.
Plenary was boring. Break was full of crazy Genshiken talk (The Reality Anime for Otaku), more Metal Gear Solid 3 (zOMG! Ocelot is really *BLEEP BLEEP BLEEP!*) and other things. Western Lit II class was all right, and so was Lit 101. Miss Lin dismissed us early for that one.
Now spending my first night home alone with my brother, who selfishly went off and played through 3 hours of MGS3 without me while I was at school. At least I got to see the cool Shagahod (*cough cough Shag Pod cough cough*) chase sequences. He's frustrated over not being able to beat the Boss yet though. Will resume tomorrow.
Snaps for me. Lots of work on the horizon and I don't want to think about it at all.
