It was a great evening, and it's good to know that you're home safely. Callsign Alpha did a good job of keeping tabs on our agent during his sortie in Bicol, and by the time I was in Paranaque for his week late birthday party celebration where he had to lead us to his house on a pink bike after we got merrily lost trying to get there ourselves he was a-ok, which brought the day full circle for me. Refreshing, seeing old/new faces and drinking the first Vodka Cruisers I have had in months. And cigarettes are light as feathers to the lungs in good company.

Slept over at her place with this one and my brother. Got to watch Nodame. I walk like her. They insist it's cute. We eventually got sent home with teh kickass torikatsu and onigiri.

So. The semester is finally, finally over. I've got PS2 games, sitcoms, anime series, manga chapters and writing projects to keep me well-occupied until the second semester comes tumbling over my head. Let's not forget about that RP session the group's supposed to have on Tuesday.

Finding it difficult to get words out here lately. When elaboration is needed, just poke.

There's something quite lovely about the point in the afternoon where it's bright enough to keep you from turning the lights on in your room but cool enough for you to enjoy it.

Yesterday and today were interesting... kudos to everyone I ended up enjoying the hours with in that period (and damn j00, [livejournal.com profile] ravenel, for making me want to play Digital Devil Saga again! >_>). Hid upstairs every now and then to get things done (of a sort), and am currently plodding through some fanfiction. I say plodding because I've done more skipping than actual reading with it. Here's to the hope that the latter parts are more interesting.

Reading list increases. I want to save my books for a time when there's no computer with Bleach episodes (yes, I FINALLY have all the episodes at hand) and story files (timeline, character sketches, unfinished bits, plot bunnies for new stuff and a possible special for the season) and unorganized music beckoning to me somewhere nearby. There's school work too, but there's always school work for a college student, even over the summer. @_@

Speaking of which. I don't think I've fully realized the implications of this being my second to the last year standing where I am. There's this, then the last summer semester of my college life, then thesis, and then who knows what? Maybe it's the "who knows what?" part that keeps me from thinking on it much, eh? *lol*

They were right the first time, I suppose. Hard to strike a balance and keep happy when it comes to the Muse and the pen and sharing her with others. It shouldn't be this hard but not being alone in the process anymore means a bit of dependency. Am fighting off dour negativity on that matter, because there are better things and either way I'm quite happy with the way things are. For now I'll enjoy my Coke and this afternoon that somehow turned out lovely even if it's a little hot.

Oh yeah. New layout.

(( go poke me here. ))

o_o

Told you I wasn't coherent.

EDIT, added later: Orange Range makes me think of pretty boys with guns and swords and nifty clothes and nice shoes and attitude. I can so see Rethe listening to this on his mp3 player while he's making new orifices for people with his guns. Not just that too. It's oddly perfect for BL manga. You try and listen to it while reading yaoi and tell me I'm right.

If some of you were wondering why I went *POOF!* from Friday night until now, it's because the DSL went down at home. Then, all of a sudden, it's up again and my brothers and I are all like, "Wha...?" @_@

Anyhow. Laguna thing tomorrow. Happee. :3

So yeah. Saturday was cool. Left house early with [livejournal.com profile] makintash; wandered near Wendy's where [livejournal.com profile] ravenel, [livejournal.com profile] yukitsu and [livejournal.com profile] archangel_dream were waiting. Zaniness occured. Then [livejournal.com profile] hel_interrupted came in followed by [livejournal.com profile] kye_kystrel soon after. More zaniness. Uke sounds. The works.

Walked around. Bought a mother load of CD-Rs. Went to Powerbooks-Tower Records and found a New Love to save up for. Anyone ever heard of The Plucker with illustrations by Brom? It's like, WOW. o_o;;
Collapsed in chairs at the Nescafe cafe (haha, that looks funny on screen x_X) and gabbed off about Lit Crit with [livejournal.com profile] ravenel while [livejournal.com profile] makintash got pwned more than a few times by [livejournal.com profile] hel_interrupted in Power Pusoy. It looks as though Arts & Letters students of UST and ADMU suffer through their semesters in the same fashion. @_@

The first hours of today were spent in bed, trying to remember exactly why I ever bothered reading Anne Rice in the past through a copy of Blood and Gold that I snatched from [livejournal.com profile] ezraelandvari's bookcase. Went down, saw a weird-ass documentary on HBO with the little brother (yeah, so what if the Indian dude who directed Sixth Sense and all the rest might be psychic or something?), went up, wrote, read, watched Gundam Seed Destiny 50 (weh) and Trinity Blood 18-20 (Hm o_o). The rest of the hours went by in a blur.

And now I'm here, wondering how the heck the internet came back.

See you tomorrow for Laguna, TABLE members. I hope you can drop in and visit us, [livejournal.com profile] archangel_dream.
This is because I'm bored.

To all who share in my boredom: My characters are now open for a panel discussion. If you have anything you'd like to say to them, feel free to comment.

Bwahahahaha. >3

*pimps the new layout again*

So the first day of the semestral break was spent semi-fruitfully, as I managed to sleep in an extra hour (7:00 wake up call rather than 6:00 @_@) and I've spent most of the day so far downloading. Did a little writing on the side for the Netsach 80, but I ran out of steam about two hours ago.

I'm catching up on manga reads too. Does anybody know where I can get KareKano scans past Volume 11, chapter 47? @_@

Pseudo-meeting for the book club that [livejournal.com profile] team7 set up tonight at Eastwood. Looking forward to hooking up with the girls again, as I haven't seen them in Forever. Maybe I'll poke [livejournal.com profile] miguel_zeruel to stop by too. Dunno whether he'll be able to come around though. I think he's still programming. Or... something. o_o;;

Then again, I could be wrong.

[livejournal.com profile] ravenel, [livejournal.com profile] yukitsu, [livejournal.com profile] menismastah, [livejournal.com profile] ezraelandvari, [livejournal.com profile] raintpainter, [livejournal.com profile] makintash, [livejournal.com profile] devione_angeli, [livejournal.com profile] hel_interrupted: We haven't hooked up in like, forever. Let's? :D

...Now I want cream cheese and crackers. Strange cravings.

Picked up the grades at school today, after much fuss and zaniness from a few of the regulars. With the exception of En101, everything was MUCH higher than I had originally expected. And I passed everything too. Now, I know that should be a given, but with the Russian Roulette that is the Atenean faculty, you can't avoid those anxiety attacks.

Hoo-haa. It's been quite a break for me. The forum has only started to slow down now (players being busy and all that), and then, after celebrating Tonet's birthday at her place (i.e. indulging in her cuteness, talking music with Adz, bitching with Sammi, avoiding ukefication from Rache, watching Petshop of Horrors...), I skipped off to Tagaytay with Mayene. If it wasn't for her, I don't think I would have enjoyed myself as much. Our company was rather... tiring, at times.

Sunday was a full day for me, even if we left the Dela Cruz Residence (*fufu*) early; I ended up going with my parents and Lolo Punzalan to visit my grandmother's grave, as it should have been her birthday last Friday. Prayed the rosary with them, and thought I heard her voice in the wind.

...And that's it for the psychedelics.

Monday. Grades. Said that before. Khursten accompanied me to stock up on the PS2 games and headed home to watch my bro and I slam in some time with Samurai Warriors: Extreme Legends. You never know how much you really miss those games till you've picked up one of it's kind again. Too bad the new copy of Devil May Cry 3 that I picked up didn't work so well. Will have to change it for another.

Headed off to let the bro have some quality time with the samurai on the PS2 and watched Casshern. It was one funky movie. I am now sufficiently dizzy, and will skip down to join my parents for dinner in the hopes of remedying that.

*huggles Alistair*

You gotta love it when your computer's a smooth operator.

Today, I rest. Tomorrow comes registration. Wish me luck on the classes I want to get... after last sem, arbitrary teachers are the last items on my wish list.
...So many posts. I've NotePad files full of shit I SHOULD be doing on my PC (fixing an RPG, finish the damned OST catalog for Endtimes, read through the new files I got...), but it's curious how celebrating summer means having no time for it. x___X

Okay. The past few days have been crazy. Here's why:

  • Little brother's graduation ceremony on Thursday. Shitload of people showed up. We clapped the loudest in his whole batch. Dinner at home. Everyone stayed late. Waha.
  • Party at Johnty's house on Friday. You know, the place with the view of distant skylines that makes you think of Evangelions rising out of the mountains. Uno Stacko zaniness, Uno card game zaniness, half-working PS2 game zaniness, and Block E snark.
  • Birthday celebration for teh Khursten at her house. Stayed up till 4, then woke up every hour on the hour till 10 the next day. Then it was off to celebrate my dearest cousin's graduation from high school. Was dozing off midway through the dinner at Dencio's.
  • Die Wildheit House Crash in my humble abode from Monday till today. Nuff said.
  • Dinner at Loh's place to welcome her back to the Philippines at spring break. Massive reunion. I <3 you all.

It does not feel like Holy Week.

By the way. Here's a bit of a distress call from my end... is anyone willing to help me out for my latest FSTs? I need songs that would suit the rampant kyoudai-ai and absolutely coolness happening in Devil May Cry 3, for the Virgil/Dante FST I'm supposed to throw together. Suggestions for tracks, please?
Liberating song, that one. *points to her subject line* Killswitch Engage. Download the version off the OST for Resident Evil: Apocalypse.

Anyhuu. Christmas break has kicked off pleasantly enough... my last day of class was crazy (details on it can be found on Liss' journal, and that's not the only fun day I've had. Still doesn't change the fact that this season's moving too quickly for my tastes.

Week has been dutifully booked by other people. See below:

December 20: Bright Condominium's Christmas Party
December 21: Starbucks craziness with Peep that was SUPPOSED to happen last Saturday but didn't due to a snarky schedule.
December 22: The usual group's gathering at G4. <3
December 23: Enchanted Kingdom with The Cousins.
December 24 & 25: Nuff said.

Seems like everyone wants a piece of me this season. @_@ I'm not complaining. Fun is good.

[ Kae has lost all coherence. ]

Oh yeah, oh yeah. Story production has slowed down. Blame it on the development of Endtimes decks for Versus. <3 you, boys. You know who you are. XD

But I do promise boysex soon. Really. :D

quizzes are love. )

Still open for teh drabbleness. If you're bored and you feel like making me a slave for the moment, link is here. :D

Today was a blast, folks... we even got to visit the infirm and watch her dog shed like crazy! ^____^ If there was one good thing about wasting our P100 there, it was essential in persuading us to head over to my place and hold our own little convention, ne? XD

No more storms on the horizon. Guess school is up for Monday. =_=
