What is this plurking thing I keep on hearing about?
It's hard to describe, actually. The best analogy I can come up with would be if you take your Twitter timeline, stretch it horizontally across your screen, and make every individual twit like an LJ entry or forum post wherein your friends can comment on them. o_o It's hell of fun, and extremely addictive.
