So today, I decided to sit myself down in front of my computer and read Katekyo Hitman Reborn! from the very first chapter all the way until the most recent one.

I have arranged my spazzing into bullet points. @_@

• GOKUDERA YOU FRAKKING PUPPY WHY MUST YOU ALWAYS MAKE ME CRY. YOU'RE A WOOBIE AS A KID AND YOU'RE WOOBIER AS AN ADULT! DDDD:
  
• Yamamoto is one fucking cool customer.
  
• Bianchi's boobs pwn my soul.
  
• HIBARI IS INSANE AND I ABSOLUTELY ♥ HIM FOR IT AND TYL!HIBARI IS JUST... JUST... *incoherence*
  
• Basil makes me wibble. He's so... so prim and proper and nice and stuff. x_X
  
• Fuck. Fuuta got this Triple Dose of Bishounen-ness in the TYL arc.
  
• I actually find the other girls in the cast cool in the series. That's a good thing, right?
  
• Oh mah gee, Mukuro. I never thought I'd see the day when I'd actually like your character. o_o
  
• Amano Akira has proven to me that it is possible to write a series where the fandom functions like one big orgy. EVERY PAIR IS AN OTP. FOR SERIOUS.
  
• I felt like creaming my pants every time Dino would call Hibari "Kyouya". >_<
  
• Chrome? I can't believe I'm saying this, but I actually like her. o_o Or well. I'm okay with her. But yeah. She's like... yeah.
  
• Tsuna spazzing is cute, but Tsuna being a BAMF is even better.
  
• I used to not really like or pay attention to the rest of the characters outside of the Vognola core, but I guess that was because I didn't read carefully enough in the beginning. Now they've all grown on me and shit.
  
• I want a Hibird now. u_u
  

Honestly, I'm really, REALLY impressed with how KHR is turning out. I found the series great when I first started, got a bit squicked by the fandom, stopped reading for a while, and then ended up marching right back in after an overload of hot smutty doujin and beautiful-looking LJ icons. I have little love for Shounen Jump series these days, but I wish all the best for KHR.

On a writerly note, I think (re-)reading KHR has really helped solidify the images I Have of my own characters. For one, it kinda-sorta sealed the Hikaru = Hibari equation for me. It was shaky when I first saw it, but now I am sealed and sold. o_o

Also: I DO SOLEMNLY SWEAR TO WRITE A KHR/OOFURI CROSSOVER SOMEDAY BECAUSE YAMAMOTO'S SWORDSKILLZ BATTING CAN BRING ALL THE BOYS TO THE YARD TOO AND BECAUSE I WISH TO SEE GOKUDERA AND ABE ARGUING.
